Duende Pictures is a New York-based production company founded in 1989 by Jordi Torrent. We have produced numerous feature films, documentaries, and television programs. Some of our projects include: The Golden Boat, Monuments in Love, Santo Domingo: Retrato e Historia, DownUnder, The Keeper, Miotte by Ruiz, Las Cantigas de Santa Maria, Will Eisner: Two Interviews, Jonas Mekas: A Portrait, Raul Ruiz: Miscellanea Explained, My Friends at the Farm, Oedipus, and Asesinado por el Cielo . Currently we are in post- production on the documentary Mississippi to Madrid (Ain’t Ethiopia But It’ll Do) and developing the feature film Beatus . Jordi Torrent's feature film East on the Compass, premiered at the 2005 Sitges International Film Festival and was selected for the 2006 Film Society of Lincoln Center's program Another Spanish Cinema: Film in Catalunya, 1906-2006.
